Lancaster School District

The Lancaster School District is very proud of its entire staff. The classified, certificated, and administrative staff have combined to form a team of dedicated professionals who are working diligently to provide all students with the best possible education. The District strives to hire the most qualified and competent individuals and then labors to design staff development activities that will enable all employees to develop their skills to their full potential.

The Lancaster School District places advertisements in local and statewide newspapers and journals. In addition, jobs are posted on the district website. Most certificated and administrative positions are also posted on Ed-Join.

To hire, train, motivate, and retain highly qualified certificated and classified employees to implement district programs and provide the best quality services for our students.

School District employs two classification of employees:

Employment positions that require appropriate authorization such as a credential, permit, certifcate or waiver depending on the assignment (e.g. teacher, counselor, speech therapist, psychologist or school administrator).

Employment of all non-instructional positions including, but not limited to the following job families: clerical/secreterial, custodial/grounds,maintenance, child nutrition, accounting/fiscal, instructional support/child care, child development teachers, and information/data processing.
